Female founded, British B Corp certified brand, Stripe & Stare, is the result of founder Katie's mission to create the world's most comfortable (and sustainable) knicker.

Katie could's understand why there was no cool, ultra comfortable knicker for women to wear every day. She spent 6 years exploring sustainable fabrics and producers, before delivering the foundations of Stripe & Stare's brand: TENCEL™ Micro x Modal, a fabric made in Austria from Beechwood trees.

Scientifically proven to be three times softer than cotton, Stripe & Stare's fabric represents a milestone in the development environmentally sustainable textiles.

Made from wood pulp sourced from sustainable tree farms, its production uses 95% less water to produce than cotton. The fibres are biodegradable so you can pop them in the compost when you've finished with them!

Stripe & Stare are committed to sustainability, authenticity and empowerment. The factories they work with are only accepted as partners if their policies align. They're all free of child and forced labour and provide employees with a safe environment to work in. Every worker in their supply chain is the living wage or above.

They partner with Ecology to plant one mangrove tree in Madagascar for every order placed, reducing carbon, restoring wildlife habitats and creating. employment for local families.

They offset the carbon footprint of each of their employees, their packaging is 100% recyclable and they support some brilliant charities with a focus on supporting women.
